Miles Beneath My Feet by Dr. Brajesh Kumar Gupta “Mewadev”, Banda

I want to get away and break free, Miles beneath my feet

Roads destined by adventure, my legs began the journey

And drive across the country, go and ask this river running to the east

I have been not entirely right; the entire traveller’s sorrow fades away,

The world has as it swiftly drops away! Gazing up at the stars,

Wind in my hair, forgetting that no one cares

Where are forests hot as fire, It is not far, it is within reach,

And the day is loud with voices speaking, stretch far,

Sometimes the road is winding and the stops to rest

The beams of my house will be fragrant wood

Then took the other, as just as fair, I feel the spell

Away from all the trivialities

Beds for all who come, for a while, I own the dream.
