The Prestidigitator by Troy DeFrates

A magician made an illusion there
using slight of hand, it did not seem fair.
With long beard and shaggy brows he amazed
by making a globe from his hands did raise
in total disbelief I could just stare.

He moved the globe around him with no care
his secret he said to me he would share.
First I had to pass the test in the maze.
A magician made.

He transported me flying in the air
a natural he said, you need not beware.
After I passed the test I felt a phase
he taught me to make fire, to make it blaze.
Magic shown to me is real, That I swear.
A magician made.
